河流生态学、淡水生态学、淡水生态系统管理。近期研究重点为: 1. 河流生物多样性格局及集合群落构建机制 从物种、功能、谱系等维度探讨河流生物多样性时空格局;研究环境过滤、空间扩散、历史演化等生态过程对集合群落多样性格局的影响;比较不同纬度、海拔河流水系中集合群落构建机制的差异,分析河流群落构建机制的时间动态。 2. 河流生物多样性与生态系统功能关系 采用野外调查和原位实验等手段,研究河流生物多样性与生产力、资源利用效率、营养物分解速率等功能间的关系,分析不同类群生物的异步性动态对群落时间稳定性的贡献,从多类群、多功能角度解析河流生物多样性对生态系统功能的影响。 3. 淡水生态评价与生态系统管理 从提高参照状况质量、生物参数对人类干扰的指示能力、生物评价一致性和可重复性等角度出发,研究提高生物评价功效方法。评估流域人类活动对淡水生物多样性的影响,识别流域/区域尺度的淡水生物多样性重点保护区域,研究淡水生态系统整体保护方法。 |

对提高河流生态评价精准度的理论与方法、河流生物多样性格局及形成机制、河流着生藻类群落稳定性维持机制等问题进行了深入研究,取得了一系列研究成果。
