梅志刚 个人简介: 男,1986年出生,博士,副研究员。2008年毕业于华中农业大学水产系,同年起考入中国科学院水生生物研究所水生生物学专业研究生,进行鲸类动物生态学和保护生物学研究,获得博士研究生国家奖学金。2013年6月获博士学位,被评为中国科学院武汉教育基地优秀毕业生。2014年1月留所工作,2018年1月被聘为副研究员。 2014年入职以来围绕长江江豚的种群数量及动态特征、濒危现状评估、栖息地选择与利用格局、种群快速衰退机制和保护对策分析等开展了系统的研究。结果显示:长江江豚的种群数量约1040头,呈现显著的加速下降(Mei et al., 2014)。建模预测最快未来10年江豚将从长江干流消失,种群未来100年的灭绝风险高达86%(Mei et al., 2012)。IUCN据此将长江江豚的濒危等级由易危调整为极危(Wang et al., 2013)。长江江豚呈现体型小型化、提前参与繁殖和出生更多雄性后代的趋势(Mei et al., in submitted)。结果还揭示江豚种群分布破碎化加剧,当前保护区成效不显著,建议将江西湖口至江苏镇江之间的584km江段建设为一个保护区带(Mei et al., in submitted)。江湖交流对江豚种群的保护至关重要,维持每个世代5%的种群交流将显著增加干流江豚的平均灭绝时间(Huang et al., 2017)。当前在两湖实施的渔业管理措施无法缓解鱼类资源快速下降与渔民生活之间的矛盾,甚至会加重对江豚的威胁(Mei et al., 2019)。主持国家自然科学青年基金项目1项,主持国家重点研发计划和中科院战略部署研究课题子课题各1项,承担中科院水生所特色研究所服务课题1项,连续三年获得香港海洋公园保护基金资助,作为骨干参与国家自然科学基金重点项目2项。承担多项江豚保护区规划和环境影响评价项目,推动建成江苏南京和湖北监利何王庙/湖南华容集成长江江豚保护区。作为骨干参与撰写了江豚保护的纲领材料——《长江江豚拯救行动计划2016-2025》。参与编写了《长江江豚迁地保护标准》和《长江江豚人工饲养标准》。获授权发明专利2项,湖北省鉴定科技成果1项。在Biological Conservation, Freshwater Biology等表SCI论文15篇。 近期研究兴趣:(1)长江江豚的种群动态及快速濒危机制;(2)长江流域水生生境变动过程与生物多样性格局的关系;(3)以江豚为指示物种的长江干流水生生境保护和恢复对策;(4)江豚的生态进化与适应;(5)江豚的个体定位及跟踪技术研发;(6)中国近海鲸豚种群现状调查保护。 招生专业:水生生物学 招生方向:生态学、动物学、水生生物学、环境科学、应用数学 联系电话:027-87801331 电子邮箱:meizhigang#ihb.ac.cn(发邮件时将#换成@) 代表论文(*通讯作者,#第一作者): Zhigang Mei, Yi Han, Lijun Dong, Samuel T.
