学科组整体的研究方向简介:

致力于藻类细胞分化、逆境适应、病毒感染的分子机理和进化研究,提出了丝状固氮蓝藻控制异形胞分化的HetR-[HetZ/HetP]-PatS核心调控回路、绿藻对极地环境的早期适应机理和温带地区蓝藻越冬的分子机理,鉴别出病毒侵染蓝藻的识别分子,深入分析了蓝藻演化史。
